Allegra Campos, USPTA
Director of Tennis and Athletics

Since 1987, Allegra Campos has served as the Tennis and Athletic Director here at the Cheval Golf and Country Club. She has a life-long commitment to promoting tennis and all athletics. Allegra is a top ranked women's national USPTA and USTA player and a former two-time collegiate All-American from the University of Miami. She has also played professionally on the WTA Tour and reached a career high ranking of 150 in the world.

Francis Cooke
Teaching Professional

Francis has been teaching here at Cheval since 1990. Working with Cheval's Junior Program, he has produced many top players that have gone on to play at the professional and collegiate scholarship level. Francis also runs many successful local and national tournaments.

Jackie Trail

Teaching Professional

Jackie is an experienced coach for players of all levels, both adults and juniors. As a former WTA touring professional, she reached a career high of 166 in the world, won seven USTA Super National Championships, and was ranked number one in the nation, and number six in the ITF world rankings as a junior. She participated in the first match ever played on Arthur Ashe Stadium while playing in the U.S. Open and also played in all four Grand Slam events.

Bobby Gillespie

USPTA and USPTR

Bobby is a high energy, results-oriented coach of many players at all levels. He was a United Kingdom National University Collegiate Champion 1989 through 1992. He enjoys sharing his love of the game with players of all ages.

Tu Mai Tran

USPTA

Born in Vietnam, Tu Mai grew up in Tampa. She was a high school standout and achieved a top 10 florida Junior State ranking. Tu received a full tennis scholarship to the University of Tennessee and graduated in 1997. Tu is a Cheval resident and a teaching staff member since 1999.
